Let me explain to you a thing about William Wintergreen
Though Wintergreen does butlery things like serve Slade alcohol at random hours of the day, he is not a butler. He is Slade’s best friend, and is a under appreciated character.
He is a ladie’s man
He can shoot stuff good because ARMY MAN
he does not passively accept all of Slade’s bullshit
his backstory is amazing. Dad did dealings with the Nazis though his wife was Jewish. Wintergreen had to live with the shame of his father helping the Nazis.
also he is not posh all the time because he is British, he actually has quite the potty mouth
and finally, his bromance with Slade is actually the greatest thing

Why you should ship Sladdie (and love Adeline Kane)
I’ve seen many blog posts about sexism in comics, but I’m here to point out how awesome Slade Wilson and Adeline Kane’s relationship is in the New Teen Titans comics. Enter Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) and his former wife Addie:
If this isn’t adorable I don’t know what is.
Also Slade Wilson is an actual feminist:
Slade actually respects her as his superior and doesn’t take shit from anyone about her gender because he knows that she’s smarter and better than him.
And boy does she
kick
ass
and Addie isn’t afraid to embrace her feminity and isn’t oversexualized
she’s a sauve lady who kicks ass and doesn’t care who she’s talking to. Not even Robin the boy wonder.
And she’s a great mommy
Basically the Wilsons were adorable as hell before Jackal happened
And this is why you should ship Sladdie.
Slade Wilson comes home from the military and sees his son Grant for the first time. Aww they were so cute before everything fell apart.
